Uh hello, I'm here. Lot of votes just for not checking in after a few days on Day 1. Especially since I know some of you are aware that I've only been able to get on for a few minutes everyday becaue I have no internet at my house

 

Anyhow, glad I checked in, but now my mom is yelling at me because I snapped at her. Getting so many votes for practically nothing doesn't really put me in a good mood.

 

Sorry if I overreacted a little, I think Amega's and Ishmael's several attempts to vote me looked like a lot more votes to me, since I'd just had time earlier to skim the posts LOL.

 

I had stopped by a couple times to read this thread, I didn't realize I'd never posted. Not much had been going on so far to comment on.

 

 

I agree...partially...about inactives (I think a lot of you, especially newer players, don't always know how to distinguish between inactives and players who actively lurk), but I think it's way too early to be lynching people who are inactive. It's Day 1. A lot of people hang back early in the game to just observe and then come out and post more once things are more underway.

 

 

 

wow.....inactive...lurking... i guess i didnt specify well enough. of course theres no reason to vote someone who is not play at all. but those that check in and dont say much are not helpful. And you guys can go ahead and lynch me for your day one vote, hopefully that will bring you plenty of info. seriously though it was an idea, and since no one is liking it, i will drop it.

This isn't what you were saying when you were voting me, though. You were voting me because I hadn't checked in at all, or said anything at all. Now you're saying there's no reason to vote someone who's doing that.

 

I hadn't thought I'd vote you before, since it seemed like people were just jumping on the player trying to get things going, which I don't like. But now I'm seeing scummy desperation.

Also alaana I voted you because hybrid said you were on the boards and didn't check in so nice try with that. U said you couldn't get on which isn't true. Uu were already on and choose not to check in... but whatever im positive there's scum on this train.

 

This here. Twisting what I said. I had zero internet at home last week. I was able to get online for a few brief moments most days by going over to my aunt's house and using her internet. She lives relatively close by, but I'm not going to go live with here, or drop by for long periods of time, just so I can use her internet.

 

So, as I already said, when I was able to go to her house and use her internet, I got online to do the things I needed to do. That was pretty muchg monitoring my own mafia game over in the WT, finishing up Harry Potter Week things, and doing things for the Aiel, my group.

 

So duh, I was able to get online sometimes, I already said that. But as it was usually not for very long, no, I never did get around to posting here. I checked in on the game a couple of times, very quickly, saw that not much was going on, and chose not to post.

 

Second thing: Part of the issue here is you are taking Hybrid's view of things, which is not mine. He is telling you that you should lynch lurkers. I actually disagree. I am a lurker, that's how I choose to play, that's how I always play. I don't believe lurking always hurts the town, it depends how/why/when you're doing it.

 

So, I guess to sum it up, while I wasn't lurking on purpose last week, and don't appreciate being accused because of that, I don't usually post much early in the game. Are you saying everytime I check in on this game, I should post something? Sorry, I don't. Lynch me for it if you want, but I've played this way for two years now and it's not gonna change.

 

BTW, that post was directed at Amega and Ishmael.

 

Hmm, I don't know about Hybrid being scum. He never actually said anything about lynching inactives. I'm more inclined to think so of Ishmael, who took his comment and used it as a reason for finding me/other lurkers scummy.

Sigh. What I said about Ishmael and Amega taking "Hybrid's view of things" was not in response to their votes. It was in response to posts they made later about why they found me scummy. However, I'm pretty sure I already clarified this, with quotes and everything, and I'm not going to make the exact same post again.

Innocent points for Wombat and Piano, IMO. Wombat initially put the pressure on killuliu, Piano was the one who put killuliu in the lead when killuliu and I were tied at 2 votes.

 

Ishamael pinged for his unvote near the deadline then his typo in the revote.

 

Amegakure and Amadine both pinged for posting near the deadline but not voting for the majority, considering that there was no precedent of leelou counting poorly formatted votes.

I'm in the middle of a reread and just got to this section.

 

This whole post is now pinging even harder. Yes, Alanna mentioned amegakure quite a bit. But she also made a pretty big push on the amegakure train that developed Day 1 -- she was the 4th vote. That's an indicator to me that amegakure is not scum. It's interesting that you took the time to collect all the Alanna posts mentioning amegakure from Day 1, but neglected to mention or take into account how hard she was pushing for his lynch. Add that to the weird vote near the deadline . . .

 

I'll get to the reread when I'm done, but for now vote Amadine.

- Only votes of significance were bandwagons on Red and Vambram. The Red one is worth noting: Here she only comments on Wombat's weird voting, even though the argument is well under way. Later here, she comments on Red being super scummy for overreaction, but this is only after a couple other people chimed in with suspicion against Red. So this feels like an opportunistic bandwagon to me.

- Notably did not show up to vote for killuliu. (Though this could just be due to RL)

- Lots of comments on "nothing jumps out at me"

Conclusion: Timid scum vibe.

- Reacted very strongly to my comment about Red + inactives here. Granted, my comment was contingent on Red being scum, but the strength of the reaction is worth noting.

Im going to watch this case ama and hybrid have against each other. Ama has a point he shifted the focus of of me. But why would he. Im town.

 

Ama on the other hand has been lurking. And comes up with a weak dos against me.
