I'm not sure what else to say. Things have changed since I last played here at DM, and I'm trying to adjust. Personally, I'd like to see less focus on being nice and more on rooting out scum. But that's just me.

10. Keyholder21 - Pretty new but very promising imo

12. Minuet - Has played off and on for a while. I always start out thinking she's scum but usually end up trusting her by the end.

13. John McClane - Definitely more experienced and better than the average DM player but don't get cocky. We run the gamut over here.

14. Blackhoof - Not new but not yet a veteran imo. Always scummy.

15. jack D. - Veteran. Sometimes the best insight comes from those who are a bit off their rocker :P

John has made two replies since we were put on a call and response to LOCK the game. A vampire has been sighted, and John has failed in both of his replies to LOCK.

That is extremely scummy to me.

Hmm. I missed Red somehow. She's a veteran too. Loves to post walls of text which may or may not be typo-ridden depending on whether or not she is posting from her home computer. I used to think she was scum all the time but now I'm resigned to the fact that I just can't read her.

Vambram was telling the truth about not being scum. So, to the other teams, if we share information we can combine our information and end the threat sooner. If someone lies don't worry we will catch it.

even though I have played a lot of chat mafia those games can go very quick and are very different from forum mafia

not a newbie, not well versed enough to be a veteran

I just really wish the Paris team would have said something. The Vampires know who is town so if one team can save a member and basically confirm each other at least for a day then the voting pool is narrowed and the chance of hitting scum increases a good bit. But hey hindsight is 20-20 and no matter what unless another member is in danger.

 

confirmed townies are VERY bad in cult games, unless they reveal close to endgame.

 

they become targets for recruitment and killing, and it is pretty pointless to reveal anyway because after the following round of actions, they become suspect again.

 

i find the idea of team-revealing in a game like this scummy.

This is lazy. You are voting me for the reasons other people stated? In other words... hopping on the bandwagon without a case of your own.

 

I am a very out-front and aggressive player. I can understand why people don't have a good read on me right now, but damn, the majority of you seem resigned to sitting back and doing nothing... so I'm not surprised my aggressive scum-hunting is being interpreted as scummy play. However, in the mafia world I come from, scum don't jump right out in front and move their vote around STARTING trains the way I have. Furthermore, why would I as a new player here, think this would fly with such a tame mafia family on DM?

 

I know its a bit of a wifom I'm presenting about my play, but think about it... me playing the way I have have, makes NO sense for scum. I've never played here before, if I were scum I would have teammates, probably someone that has played here on that team... and there is NO WAY they would let me keep putting myself out there like I do. This is me scum-hunting... look past the abrasiveness.

Cut me some slack, I did exactly as was asked... but because it was part of a re-read I responded to stuff that occurred chronologically.

 

I guess I have to re-read everything I missed first. Then go back and re-read it again to find the stuff I want to respond to.
