During their travels, King Arthur and his Knights covered the land far and wide in search of their illusive Grail. Having passed the dreaded Knights of Ni and left them behind, the party came at last to a bridge -a creakity, old, falling-apart, bridge of the wooden variety. As they arrived at the lip of the cliff, a great flash came out of nowhere and blinded the party...when their vision cleared, the Old Man from Scene 34 stood before them, feet apart and firmly planted with one hand outstretched toward Arthur, King.

"Stop you fools! Those who would cross the Bridge of Death must answer me these questions three!"

Arthur and his Knights looked at each other in confusion. "Isn't he the Old Man from Scene 34?" asked Lancelot. "Yes, but he is also the Bridgekeeper" replied Arthur. "We must answer his five questions.." Arthur began.

"Three! It was three questions my lord." interrupted Bedivere.

"Fine" said Arthur, "so after we answer his five questions"

"Three!"

"Oh give off! Alright, now where was I? Oh yes, who shall go first?" questioned Arthur. "Oh, I have it! Sir Robin."

"Yes?"

"Brave Sir Robin, you go." said Arthur.

"But I can't my liege, I'm dead! I've a good idea, let Lancelot have a go!" quavered Sir Robin.

"Yes my Lord, let me have a go at this cantankerous old wart!" cried Sir Lancelot.

Sir Lancelot moved towards the Bridgekeeper and accepted his challenge. After answering three relatively easy questions, he was given leave to cross the bridge. Next came Sir Galahad the Pure. He also passed. Next, it was Arthur's turn.

"Heh heh. Stop! What is your name?" asked the Keeper.

"It is Arthur, King of the Britons" he answered.

"What is your quest?"

"To seek the Holy Grail."

"What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?"

"What do you mean? An African or European swallow?" countered Arthur/

"What? I don't know that! Auuuuuuuugh!"

And thus Arthur outwitted and defeated the dreaded and evil Bridgekeeper/Old Man from Scene 34, allowing his party to pass unhindered and safe into the realm beyond.

Christine, Bridgekeeper/Old Man from Scene 34, Mafia, has been lynched.

It is now Night 7. Night will end July 19 at 10pm (EST).

Niiiice. 3 (or 2 and a half) down.

So how many do you suppose there are left? 6 would have been about 1/3rd, if that counts the symp, then 3?

Vote Christine seems like a good thing to do. One must wonder whether the Min lynch was orchestrated to lead people off her.

VOTE CHRIS

I did think today would go to BG but I guess not. Im happy with this lynch though

Very quick voting there. Makes me worry.

Agreed.

Amadine was a few hours before and put Christine at L-2, so I'm not seeing her as that quick of a vote. But Player and GF's votes were only 8 minutes apart.

Nice! So we should have, what, 3 or 4 scum left? Dunno if the symp counts as part of that whole 1/3 thing.

Could be. I don't know too much about specific game balancing, could the Cult offset that at all?

Cult should factor into that too. It's supposed to be 1/3 (well, 1/4 in my opinion) anti-town, not just 1/3 mafia + other anti-town. 1/3 mafia plus other anti-town would be pretty unbalanced, IMO.

Well, it also depends on the number of factions. Wasn't about half of your Black Ajah game mafia? Still, it's usually around 1/4 to 1/3

That has me worried, we still have the edge, but it isn't completely comfortable. I can't recall who it was that implied king arthur could be mafia, was it day 3, seems like a scummish comment to me. Have to check. Probably wisest to round on BG tomorrow, in order to get more mafia killed.

I think the King Arthur scum comments were made in reference to Red's daily role changes. One of which implied King Arthur. Tina mentioned something about it seeming odd on Day 3.

Again, people keep FoSing me and saying I'm the best candidate next, and for what? The closest I've seen to a good reason lately was Wombat saying I was trying to lead the town. That's a fair accusation, although I'm inclined to disagree. Maybe I should just not talk as much. Maybe I should start lurking and and being reactive, rather than proactive. That way people won't be inclined to see scum where there is none. Seems to be working pretty well for many other people.

Honestly, of the people left I've seen the most scummy behavior from GF. Including the half reveal. IIRC GF, you mentioned revealing if you made it through Day 7, does that mean you're going to fully disclose on Day 8?

Posted

Yes, I am going to fully disclose tomorrow.

*clopeti clop, get's off his horse and prepares to remove helmet*

Perhaps I am a vanilla like Red, but would've done some good still, I shouldn't be lynched.

Actually, I now wonder how much it would benefit the town for me to say now.

What the heck GF? All of these within 19 minutes of each other. That looks like another sort of claim, then saying that you are just vanilla and lied to save your butt, and now you are back to saying you might have a role but don't want to claim?
