Jarinn squatted a short distance away from the hold, still under it's long shadow as the sun rose behind it. He readjusted his bowcase on his back, the edge digging into his back. He kept returning his gaze to the hold, waiting for Namo to arrive. Jarinn had told him just after sunrise as the meeting time for this lesson, and was wondering whether the young man would arrive on time.He hoped so, because they had a bit to cover, what with Namo hoping to aspire to become a member of the Seia Doon society. Jarinn glanced back at the hold, and saw a figure coming towards him. Good, he's on time, he thought with a small twitch of his lips, and stood up, waiting for Namo to reach him.

Namo ran towards the figure in the distance as the sun rose on the horizon. He wondered what today would consist of?? He readjusted the leather stap that ran over his shoulder. He looked to the sky and saw the his bird floating on the morning thermals. He whistled and the bird desended as namo approached the man who would guide him into the family called Seia Doon. The warriors of the night as they were called.. he stopped short of the warrior and let the bird land on his shoulder. He crouch and looked up at the warrior and waited for him to proceed:.

Jarinn frowned when he saw the bird land on Namo's shoulder, but did not make mention any of it. "I see you, Namo," he said, nodding to the young man. " Today's lesson will teach you the ways of our society, of how to move stealthily, and attack even more so. We will stay within a short distance of this location. First lesson today will be on moving stealthily. Watch," Jarinn told him, and, keeping himself slightly crouched, ran lightly around his student in a circle, his footsteps not making a sound, nor did his boots leave markings on the hard ground. "Attempt my movements, and remember, stay on your toes." He stepped back as he said it. I wonder how well he will do without any previous instruction, Jarinn thought as he waited for Namo to try.

Namo stood up and repeated the questure as old as the Aiel themselves. He felt strong and invincible today, like nothing could possibly stand in his way. He let him self soak in the words of his mentor, mulling over every last drop. He weighed each syllable with the utmost importance, for he stood in the presence of a Siea Doon warrior one with the darkness those who are not seen or heard. He understood what his mentor had shown him and he weighed the actions of the process. Namo sent the bird into the sky as he prepared to repeat the complex process fully understanding that it would take trail and error to become one with silence. He dropped to a crouch and altered it so that his weight was evenly balanced over his toes but not so much to leave an imprint in the ground. Namo took a step forward and slowly he picked up his pace intill he heard no sounds except for the beating of his heart. He stood and looked to his mentor and weighed the expression on his face ready to redo his mistakes as needed.

Jarinn watched carefully as Namo made his attempt at moving silently. He almost had it, Jarinn thought, and nodded when Namo stood in front of him again. " That was good, but you were leaning too far back, which in turn made more weight fall on your heels, leaving slight marks," he said, walking over to a spot where a faint outline of a boot was.
" Try again, this time, I want you to run around the outside of the hold, leaving no markings at all.I will be examining the path you take, and expect to see no sign of you ever being there. This shouldn't take too long, but I expect us back here before the sun is halfway to it's zenith. Go when you're ready," Jarinn told Namo, and examined the sun's height.

Namo listened to the words of his instructor and followed him over to were the imprints were. Namo studied the imprint and practiced the stance he squatted down and stretched out his limbs until they were limberand he stood upand practiced his stance walking in short little circles until he felt it in his body. He turned towards his instructor and recognized what he was being asked to do.

Namo readied his mind for the task he thought he could do it. NO he knew he could do it. He would show the determination of a future chief. He must go through these hardships and learn from them. He would be the rock of the people they are all strong on their own, some of the greatest warriors in the world, but he must be able to withstand the tests of Ruidahan and lead the people over the dragonwall. He stood up and walked around the terrain that laid before him, it was filled with ruts and rocks and scarce bushes.

Crouching he pressed his hand on the soil to figure out its desity. Pulling back he raised himself off the ground with his arms and walked over to were he would start. He started out slow, moving one leg at a time step by step. He was careful of the weight on his feet putting most of it towards the front of his foot. Moving as slow as a stalking snake but as he gathered up the nerve and figured out the unspoken tricks he struck like a cobra and took off.

His mind slowed down as he sped up, but the only thing that entered his brain was the view of the land and the words his master spoke. weight forward, weight on the toes and a constant speed. Namo did not look back for he had to believe in himself if others were going to believe in him. The sun had rose high and was now beginning to crouch behind the mountains, its heat diminishing in place of darkness and nothing else penetrated his brain until he heard his masters voice tell him to stop. Namo turned and looked at him ready for the verdict and ready in his heart to run until he died.

Jarinn stood in front of Namo, and looked up at the sun. They had indeed made it back to where they started before the sun had risen halfway to its peak. His eyes had been on Namo and where he had been running the entire time, and he was impressed. Not even one footprint, and this was only the boy’s second attempt. He would make a fine addition to the society, Jarinn thought. “Well done, Namo. But even though you have done well today, I want you to walk like this every day, everywhere you go, until it becomes like second nature,” he told Namo, “Come out here after the sun rises tomorrow. I will be waiting for you here, where we will continue with our next lesson.”

Jarinn stood a ways out from the hold, looking out across the barren Waste. He had been training Namo for days now, and he had improved his skills enough that Jarinn felt it was time to move on to the next task. As the sun rose that morning, Jarinn had left the hold and went to a large rock that was as tall as himself a short way away, placing a small knife with a wooden hilt so that it looked like it was stuck in the rock, but it was actually sitting in a hole that had been dug out around ankle height. He then put down a piece of gray twine and let it trail around the base of the rock twice, overlapping itself. Three steps away from the rock, Jarinn placed a plain silver bracelet and completely covered it with loose rocks. Jarinn turned around to face the rock, and noticed a dead lizard, about the size of his hand, lying above the sand, but blending in almost perfectly. The shadow below the body gave it away, and even then, only from the right angle. The toe of his boot got caught on a rock, and he purposely shifted it in the sand slightly before continuing on. Jarin stood next to the pile of rocks around the bracelet, and noticed that a small segade plant sat there, wilting over the rock pile. He took two steps away from the plant and placed his foot down firmly, leaving a definite boot mark in the sand. He reached down and grabbed a handful of sand and sprinkled it over the pebbles that sat next to his boot print, all but burying them, leaving the faintest outline of his heel. The marks his fingers had left in the sand were clear, and a small smooth stone sat in one of the grooves where his finger had scraped.

As Jarinn walked away and turned around, inspecting the area for a final time, a hot breeze blew up, ruffling his hair and sending sand over everything. There was no trace of him ever being there, apart from the items he had placed. He got back to where he had started from just as Namo arrived. " I see you Namo. Today, you have a new task. Walk over to the large rock behind me and see if you can find anything that is out of place. Make a note of it, but do not move anything. This shouldn't take you very long, but will train your eyes to look for things that seem out of place," Jarinn didn't waste any time in giving Namo the next part of his training. " I expect you to use what you learned in the past days when you attempt this, as this is a good way to start combining these two skills, and you can improve upon your movement as well. There should be no sign of you ever being there, if you ever move something unintentionally, move it back to it’s former position, otherwise it might give you away," Jarinn finished his instruction, waited to see if Namo had any questions, not feeling the need to ask if he did.

Namo strode forward until he saw his instructor standing out with the days heat blazing down on the cracked rocks. Nodding he replied. "i see you Jarrin." Immediately he cut to the chase as was usual with the aiel. Small talk was never regular when training or war was hanging over everyone's heads. Quickly discussing the details, Namo mesmerized what he had to do quickly. Moving forward he remember to keep his weight just right so he wouldn't leave any tracks. Nodding as he saw no prints he walked towards the rock. Smacking a rock with foot he crouched carefully and placed it back in the hole that seemed abit further away then it should have been, but he took little notice of it. Looking at the rock he immediately noticed the wooden handle. He let his gaze roam slowly around the rock and the surrounding area. He saw a long piece of twine that lay around the base. Over to his right there was some marks like someone had been digging for something and a the faintest footprint. Looking for some time longer and saw nothing else satisfied he stood and walked over to his teacher. Quickly he listed off his items and waited for the outcomes of his results.

OOC: sorry if this sucks but im supper tired.
