Thankyou, thankyouy for the warm welcome's.

And yes A song of Ice and Fire, I do love the book's, the moniker you have donned, ever so slightly gave away your entusiasim for the saga. And I actually hate Pokemon, was just hyper last night haha.

Look foward to talking to "Ya'll".

Welcome Mr. Person. Glad to see that you have joined DM.

I am one of the rare Yellows here besides all the Reds and Greens and the Blues that we have here.

*hands Mr. Person a glass of lemonade and a piece of lemon meringue pie*

Hope you enjoy your stay. Please do visit.

Hey, Ya'll is NOT a Texas Exclusive word.

I'm a Native Georgia Girl and use it all the time.

Now, it is true that I live in the Great Nation of Texas Now, but, I used Ya'll waaaaaaaaay before I moved here.

Interesting historical note:

In the 1700s, when writers wrote of "personhood" versus Humanity, it was not to imply that the individual was a free-thinking, standing human being. "Personhood" implied that the "person" was merely homo sapien, not that they had a soul, or a being, or were allowed indivudual thoughts.

"Personhood" implied animal side.

To call someone a "person" or that they had "personhood" was to imply they were less than human. Which is why the references to Slaves in the US Constitution calls them "persons" instead of people or humans.

Personhood today implies humanity, humanness.

Im glad somone here, can look at my name with a slightly more estoeric view. Congratulation's, now my subjectiveness to the claim of "Personhood" well that is for another time.

So, Subject. What brings you to the White Tower?

Re-read the whole series in anticipation for the last book. And im a major lore nerd, I was just casually browsing on lore discussion's and saw a few good search' originating from this website, so thought to myself,"Good golly why dont I join and geek out and annoy the s*** out of people with it?", hence I joined.

And then some crazy Red Ajah, PM'ed me and told me to "STFU and get on White tower", so here be me.

Yourself?

I came to DM mostly out of the lack of local friends who enjoy WoT.

I came to the White tower because they are really active, and it felt like a great place to meet equal minded friends.

I like the Reds. They are awesome like that.

I agree... they do *pouts*

And don't worry bout friends, these online peopke are prerty legit and awesome.

Thr only reason I joined DM is cause everyone on this other site always spoke if it and then I decided to have a look.

And all my RL friends suck in matters of fantasy

Yeah, I used to be really big Wotmaniac, and then, it shut down. I was only active there in the three months before and after each book released.

Then, when ToM was coming out, I needed a new place to talk to people about WoT.

DM is my new home.

Haha... interesting story.

I had fun spamming on a game forum... then I remembered that there was a WoT forum called Dragonmount. I thought to myself... 'might be a fun place to spam'... and it turned out to be exactly what I had hoped for.

Oh, Wotmania... I remember thee well. *dramatic sigh* Every so often I go lurk around RAFO, but it's not quite the same.

Well, Subject to Beatings *thwaps* Welcome to the Warders, I've been gone for quite a while, but an old timer on the boards, if you have any questions on causing havoc without getting caught, or flirting it up with the sisters, feel free to ask =P
