How are DM Ajahs SIMILAR to their WoT counterparts?

I'm sure you've all seen the various Ajahs describing how they differ from their WoT counterparts, but are we really completely different? Is it not, in fact, that we've evolved just evolved a bit to fit into "Earthland" instead of "Randland"?

Here's my take on a few Ajahs:

Grays: Negotiating, preventing or stopping conflict

Most people say that's not what the Grays on DM do. I beg to differ. Just "stroll" in to the Gray Ajah, and see how long you can remain upset or angry. If Cairos doesn't stuff you full of deliciousies (yes, new word - someone go add it to a dictionary) till you can't even frown, never mind yell, or Summer diffuse any tension you might feel with the warm fuzzies she sends out, Mirsh will just twap you over the head till you come to your senses

But seriously - they might not even realize that's what they do, but I've seen the effect they have on people often enough.

Yellow: Healers

Ok, so they might not be able to heal physical or mental illnesses, but what's the Yellows on DM known for widely? Humour! What's the best medicine for many many things? Humour!

Feel depressed? Life is just a drag? Want to curl into a ball and just give up? Naah ... go visit the Yellows. Someone will hit you with a floorboard or a fish or something. Pretty soon you'll be giggling, then laughing. And I doubt anyone can remain depressed when they see a naked Norwegian streaking by.

So ... what similarities do you spot at the Ajahs?

The Browns here are very much like the Browns in the books. I dunno if they would like that discription but I see them that way. Very serious people the Browns. They like learning and posting topics about which maybe you need to research more about in order to fully debate with them about. So yeah I think the Browns are pretty close. :)

Pillow friends!

That's how we're similar. Coz, ya know... pillow friends are fun.

Also, the Blues here are great at causes and stuff. We go into the world, change things. And then we come back. And we're always missing members coz RL eats them. Just like in the books. Where they Blue sisters are hardly in the WT, coz they are outside in the world Bonding people and making general ruckus.

And pillow friends. Always a big thing in Ajahs.

I think the Reds here have maintained the passion that the Reds have in the books. They may not be passionate about the same things, but there is passion there all the same. Determination and ambition I think too. The lovely Reddies on DM definitely seem to be a set of women (and men?) who know what they want and have the drive to get it.

Similar, I think the Greens have a lot of 'book Green' characteristics. The feisty-ness is definitely obvious, but they also display a care for their fellow DMers, care for the overall whole site that the Greens also display in the books (in that they want to be prepared for the Last Battle in order to help save the world). They also display a wide range of talents just like their book counterparts.

The Whites themselves have spoken about how they are fairly similar. The calm and collected personalities of the present Whites are in line with the book Ajah, as well as their monthly logic puzzles - using intellect to better the world of DM, encouraging us all to expand our minds.

Just my two cents *g*. I have thoughts on the others that were mentioned above as well, but I felt that these three needed to be mentioned to make it fair .
