Christmas Carol -It's a Knockout (Finished --> Hark the Herald Angels Sing wins)

Over the next 15 days in the lead up to Christmas, the Band of the Red Hand, DM's travel and music ORG, will be hosting a knock out competition to find out what DM's favourite Christmas Carol is. Each day, 2 carols will be posted, along with a link so you can listen to the carol if you do not know it, and all you have to do is post which is your favourite carol of the two. After a day, the votes will be counted, and the winning carol will progress to the next round, until we only have 1 carol left as the winner at the end of the 15 days.

It's very simple, so I look forward to seeing you getting involved!

There are two versions of "While Shepherds Watched their Flocks By Night". This is the one I know. I'd never heard the other before.  :)  I like it better than "O Little Town of Bethlehem".  But if you insist on the other version of "Shepherds", I'll have to vote for "Bethlehem".   ;)

This performance of "Shepherds", on ancient organ, is interesting, too.  :)

Please note that the next challenge will go up when I get home shortly, as that is where my list is, and I've been down at Northie's (my girlfriend, for those that don't know) all weekend.

I prefer to see three ships, even though I only ever saw two.  There was this really tall guy in front of me, and he rather blocked the view of that third ship.  It sucks, because everybody around me started doing that grossed out, groaning laughing thing, and I was, like, "What happened?"  And this lady next to me said that some guy on the third ship had hurled over the side from the top deck and that this poor b@stard on the deck below and been leaning out to wave goodbye, and had gotten covered by puke!  I think there are a couple of lessons to be learned here:  Don't stand behind tall people, and take your Dramamine before boarding the third ship.
