Redd had been voting people all game and not giving any reasons more involved than "I think they are a wolf", and I didn't assume I would get any more than that myself, to be frank. See how he responded to Tigs.

It was pretty clear to me why he was voting, as he'd made a point of asking me to "do stuff" and the next thing he said after the vote was that I was reading the thread but not playing the game. Spades had also asked him to explain his vote shortly afterward. I honestly didn't feel he needed to elaborate further, I already knew he wasn't a fan of my playstyle, and since he flipped mafia, guess he felt I was an easy target for his self-preservation vote. At the time he voted me, the other votes on the board were

My reason for Tress to be scum isn't a reason to scum read someone. Not caring about votes on you is null. Not finding out why people vote you is annoyingly null. Tress is null for me.

I'm here and can see a lot happened while I was drunk and subsequently unconscious. Now that Day 1 is over and we have some information to go on i believe I can give a much more informed read.

 

I would like to take a minute to explain something to you guys. This whole new era aggressive townie game that you all play isn't how it was played before my hiatus. From the few games I've had since being back every game has went something like this..."Player x comes out, spams a lot, points FOS at everyone, everyone jumps in line behind them for the rest of the game" that's not my style

 

You are more than welcome to go check out the games I have been recently involved in, including the very last one where I started out much the same, Zander knew I was scum, went hardcore after me for not posting much day 1 and not game solving and I was the cop. Iirc back in my day, the ones that wouldn't shut up itt, the ones that switched their vote everytime the page turned, and called every player coming and going "scummy" that were actually the scum.

 

So, my play style may not seem like the most proactive style there is but it sure worked well enough in my day. Y'all keep your panties on and I'll get a read to you shortly.

The choice of Redd as the kill N1 was interesting - the only two people he called town at all were Spades, who he'd previously been suspicious of, and "the pretty new girl" (assuming Shanti?).  He was clearly not the seer, so mafia were not seer hunting.  I don't know that this says much about who the mafia is, but I know it says quite a lot about who the mafia isn't.

No, nobody listed Redd as their peek.  I went through last night and found everyone's reads lists or individual reads given (except Eldrick because he had posted the most and I was ready to turn my brain off at that point) and the only ones who'd even listed Redd as town were Spades and Alex.

Going through ISOs and compiling those lists did emphasize one thing.  Ed really managed to do a lot of posting while giving very few clear opinions.

It's interesting that she thinks people listed as peeks would be a nk discussion topic.

 

I hadn't really given much thought as to why he was killed myself. It's usually wifom to try and sort that out. Could be he was town read. Could be they thought they saw a subtle seer hint. Could be they wanted to throw us off.
