Past experience...a similiar one where she was absent because sickness - seemed to not be posting much besides catch up - came out as town.

 

Is there anything in her posting though that makes her town to you, or just that there has been similar circumstances in the past?

Id expect him to vote a town read in this scenario, yes. Unless he absolutely couldn't justify it or was not involved.

The wolf game of his I read, he spends most of the game tunnelling Despot, who was his high-octane emotion but very present self. He ends up getting lynched by Darthe, but he goes down swinging like woah

 

His wolfgame isn't one built of fear

 

 

 

Despot is a pedophile who struck a very serious chord with me. 

 

I'm happy to play this game and reply to your previous post about my play, but if you plan on using the Despot game as meta, its much better that I sub out now.

Alright - I've skimmmed - not going to lie - but this close to deadline it makes more sense to get some semblance of what is going on.

 

First an apology to all - I'm sorry for my lack of posting. Weekend was busy and I completely forgot about game. With that being said, I know I'm getting a lot of heat beacuse of that. Those who have played with me know my meta - I hella lurk as scum. I can tell you though that I'm vanilla town.

 

Reads:

 

Ed feels really off to me. I've not played with him much (if ever??) but it does seem off. His vote on killashandra was wolfy.

Darthe also feels off to me. I don't see his normal self in this game. Feels like what I saw from him on my AC game.

 

Tigger is town

Niniel is town

Cory is town

 

Can never read the monstr

 

DPR seems townie to me as well.

 

I'm liking seph more as the game goes on - although I leaned scum when he followed eddy.

He isnt voting his top suspect, and his votes positioning shortly after the nin vote doesnt look good, and I know he is voting town.

 

The first ones the only substantial point but the others weigh on my process too

 

 

Your assumption that you're not my top suspect is false - I don't make lists from top to bottom - my thoughts go out as I think of them.

Okay, that's fair enough, but then the fact the person (you, in this case) wasn't his top scumread seems completely irrelevant.  Niniel was certainly nowhere near his top scumread.

 

I also have a theory about a possible explanation, though I have no idea if he'd think that way.  And tbh it's a pretty sub-optimal strategy.

Anyway, my apologies to Sooh for my previous post, after reading again I didn't see what had pinged on me last night.

 

I'm not comfortable with the lunch on Kronos, not because I necessarily feel he is town but because I'm very suspicious of Manbat, early on he called out players about his playing style, Shad in particular about being able to tell if he's scum. With my town read on Shad, it feels like an attempt to pull in support from someone. Could be wrong but it's my take.

 

Dont feel too swell on Seph, as I stated before he was in the back and forth banter and it seemed to me like a pretty strong attempt at pushing suspicion to others.

 

My read on Clov is actually scum too and it's pretty much for the same reasons. Not much to build a case on for any of the three but it is still day 1. I think it would be a little freckles for all of them to jump on a train early on and stay there but I would still guess that two of them are scum.

 

With all I've had from Ed being majority drunk posting it's been pretty difficult to pinpoint my feelings there. Kind of strange though, as I remember him being more active and having more input.

 

My feelings on DPR are still the same. He always had more input than we've gotten here but his input is usually helpful to a degree, scum or not.

 

Killasandra still doesn't sit right with me but it could just be where she is new and needs to learn the ropes.

 

Kronos stated that he felt a townie vibe from Shad that was backed up by his partner being Cory and I agree with that. That's what I get off of both of them.

 

Song isn't really pinging for me so I don't really know which side to lean with her.

what do you think of seph/shad/manbat/sooh in regards to their alignments (v/w)?

I honestly can't say more that I think 2 of the 4 are scum. As to which two.....I have no idea. I think it's a good strategy to back and forth with a couple you know are town to later refer to as "this looks suspicious"

I played for a couple years. Not sure on the amount of games but I should be able to find out with that awesome chart of Shad's. Has been a while though. I feel rusty.

Its posts like this that sometimes lose me. I get that the game can not cater to the one newb but to much short hand stuff from too many posters if going to leave me at serious disadvantage. Though I am coming to like the game so someday I will catch up. lol

 

It is not just you shad so don't take it as singling you out. It was just the most recent I could point to.

 

Basically we both reacted to Darthe's comment in the same way and expressed this within a timeframe that eliminates the possibility of one of us copying the other.

 

Usually happens when both parties are trying to solve the same puzzle in the same way, i.e. looks great for the other guy from your personal pov.

A day one null post isn't unusual.  I don't have reads on most people day 1.  I would say for skim reading I have more than I usually do on a typical day 1.

Monstr is posting a lot and seems to be scumhunting, but he always feels passive agressive to me and that is hard for me to read.
