^lynch it first, thank me later. Im simply right, and you can follow me or you can apologize later when its proven.

Again, and I really want you to answer this question. And if you don't remember, we danced this tango the last time we played together so I'll remind you (in case you forgot) that I'm not going to let you get away with evasion or a flimsy answer.

What happens if you get your magic wish and MrsClov and I are lynched. We're going to flip town. What happens then?

And don't say "you won't flip town" because that's a nonanswer. So humour me.

But about you, why do you feel that anyone should have a town read on you this game? What have you done that has warranted a positive read? Mrs clov pulling out random distraction posts or doing damage control for you? The poor tone, the immediate reactiveness, the name calling, the post about needing to confer before a joke vote followed by an individual vote, or 309?

You tell me, when ive already got mountain on you why should I not push you? Why should I care what you think?

Youll quickly come to the conclusion I already know.

i think this is also kinda townish

liz i still would like a link to where you've asked that question before

It's the FF7 game. I believe that dice went to look it up.

I have to take a phone call but I'll look for it and post it when i get back.

Cuth time well prove you wrong here. Don't do that to yourself.

What happens when time proves you wrong?

It doesn't.

Oh really? You're saying that you're never wrong?

You forget that I've played 3 games with you before this one?

Here we have another over extension. Liz is actively trying to make me look worse because, inordinately, she doesn't see that this is amisplay.

Sure. I've got a bad read on notbob so I'll analyze your train, mostly ignore you but reread mrs clov, and assess from there. Prob notbob given current info

dice can you confirm that liz has done that before

Done what?

asked that "if im mafia who are my partners" question

That was post 309 I referenced earlier, I think. Its a terrible question, but the vote but with you and me was worse imo, and the mrsclov wifi questions are near there.

no she isn't

all she says is that you have been wrong in the past, according to her existing experience

that is not "trying to make you look worse"

could i convince you to lynch notbob today

i think he's the scummiest person itt and we can evaluate lizclov based off that better if he flips red

given that i think you're town, it would be in our interests to unite, and i'm never going to lynch lizclov today

what do you say

Okay, I"m caught up and here are some thoughts.

Darthe: Darthe's only real contribution to the thread at this point has been pointless fluff and picking up on a joke post I made about RVS voting him and then running down the tunnel like there's a pile of gold at the end of it. He could be doing this as town (I once played in a game where he argued someone was scum because of the way they punctuated their sentences...) because he's pretty full of himself and pigheaded as town. I generally find him to be frustrating to play with for that reason. I'm also keeping in mind that Seph claims to be able to read him well, and right now I have Seph in my town column.

But I don't put it past him to do it as scum either. I read part of his last game where he was scum and he was pretty bold and in people's faces, pretty much running with the "hahaha, i can do whatever I want!" It's also very easy to make a push by just quoting things and saying "this is so wolfy" without actually explaining what it is about that post that is actually wolfy. And he ignores questions as scum or as town, but I'd like someone else to push him to put his thoughts on record so he can't just hide behind "everyone thought they were wolfy" and people can actually track what his progression of thoughts are.

I want to know more about what @Hallia and Seph in particular expect from him when he's scum.

(by the way, I'm going to continue to vehemently disagree with the mindset that town should only focus on one day at a time in a game. Thinking ahead does not mean locking in future actions, what it does mean is exploring things in real time so that you can find actual scum and/or go back the next day and challenge people if their progression sucks. It forces people to actually describe their motivations, rather than "oh well, we'll just sort it out tomorrow". I've never understood the mentality of "oh we can't look ahead from D1, which is only slightly worse than the "d1 is useless" mentality.)

You can call me biased, but I agree with MrsClov that Cuth's progression on us has seemed to be townie. And I was reading him as town when he was tunneling on us anyway. Same thing with Seph (who is still reading us as scum) and Eldrick (who MrsClov and I don't totally agree on for the record).

MrsClov reads Hallia as townie but I don't know how to read Hallia.

I'm currently reading Sooh as townie. I've only played one game with her before where she was scum and I was town (FF7). I scum read her early because of the way that she was shading me (basically just throwing out suggestions about me being scum without backing anything up) and then i thought she was townie in her responses to me in that when I challenged her she stuck to her read but seemed open and honest in the way that she responded to me. Eventually came around to realizing she was scum over N1 and we wound up lynching her on D2.

In this game, though, I'm reading her posts as being open and honest BEFORE being challenged. I don't know her scum range, but at the moment I'm reading her as town.

My current don't really trust list (aside from Darthe) are notbob, DPR, and Crusher. Notbob seems to be hedging a lot of bets. I've already called out DPR on some posts that don't read as genuine to me, including his statement about Eldrick being "wound up" (he never did answer my question on that one, just commented on Eldrick's answer I believe). And Crusher...I'm going to reread him. But he seems to be taking the easy route at the moment as well.

Tinker has done nothing to explore anything at all in the game and then pops in to place an easy vote on us. If he is who I think he is (from skype) then I believe that he's part of the whole "d1 is useless" crowd, which I find annoying but not alignment indicative, so he's someone I'd like to see pushed. There's absolutely no reason for anybody to say at this point that there's no information to work with in the thread.

I agree with you on darthe. He is a tough read. But I have figured him out on little things twice in a row now, and feel like I have a 3rd.

I have mixed feelings about Cuth. I liked his reason to push you. Then his Unvote confused me. And now he likes that I'm town reading you. I'm gonna have to sort him out later.

Haven't been impressed by Sooh yet. It takes a while for me to figure her out, though.

Agree on NotBob. Not sure about DPR and Crusher. I've only played a little bit with DPR and this is first game with Crusher. Still working on figuring them out, because there isn't much to work with here.

Tink probably is who you think he is. He's in the Skype chat. He's another one I don't know too well, and need more from. I know him....better....than a few others in this game, but still not terribly well. I think we've played like 2-3 games together.

Addressing this again because you still seem to be missing why it's an issue. It's not about looking forward. It's about the significant chance for misinformation. Trying to figure out teammates is something to be done after there's a scum flip.

D1 is for figuring out single people, not links, especially when there are several people with little/no content. Your question was unreasonable at the time you asked, so it came off as scummy.

I get what you were trying to do. Do you get why it was seen as bad?

im not that good a Darthe reader til late game. And then it has a lot to do with the actions taken and how my gut reacts to them. My expectations of darthe are simple. Expect anything cause u will probably get it. I do try to tone read him but thats not foolproof with him.

That about sums it up for me as well. I've figured him out over little things in D1 the past couple games. Things that other people have said are null for him. I don't know how I know when he's scum.

Still waiting for a recent town game to compare.

@Cuth, here's the link to the game. If you can't find the post I'll look for it later

Yes, she is. Liz isnt aggressive. Town liz doesnt say the bold, she says something like "youve been wrong before on me". That post from her was leading, it was prodding. She should have been suggestive if town.
