Anyone heard anything about the third issue? Perhaps I’m just being impatient, but I was expecting it around the beginning of August, and here it is the middle of September (and it’s not on the shipping list for next week Wednesday, either), and nothing.
It’s killing me!

Good heavens, that image of Padan Fain has got to be one of the most delightful and beautiful illustrations I’ve ever seen – and I’m an illustrator myself! The lighting, the textures, the draftsmanship – masterful. Here’s hoping the interiors look as great as the exteriors!

Hunter you sound like you need to take your meds then get away from the internet for very very long time. I had no problems with the short story or the Prologue in the comic, on the contrary I found them both to be very satisfying.

SO I finally got the first issue. And I am VERY angry, I will try to keep profanity out of this though. By god they couldn’t have put this together worst!. The first half of goddamned thing is COMPLETELY UNNECESARY!! Some story of egwene when she was nine, that makes ZERO sense and add nothing. Quite the opposite, IT DETRACTS from the one the biggest and best scenes, probably THE BEST, in whole FLAMING series.GAAAH!!! Because of that wasted space the Prologue of EotW is cut horribly short, making for an incoherent mess and terrible pacing. Not only is it inaccesible to non-WoT fans, but it is deprived of some of the best dialogue in the whole series and all o it’s badassery. I seriously want to stab these light-blind fools in their falming goat-faced mouths!!!! GAAAAAAAH!!!!
