It appears as though the UK cover art for THE GATHERING STORM (book 12 of the Wheel of Time series) has been posted. This continues the design trend that Orbit Books (Robert Jordan’s UK publisher) has used for the rest for the series.

I am quite jealous of the UK, getting to enjoy a great series AND great cover art.

The US covers;

Cocktail of Prozac, Wellbutrin, Lortab and Buspar = $14.00

Liter of off-brand Scotch on sale = $6.00

Box of discount crayons = $1.95

Combining all of the above and churning out a piece
of crappy ‘art’ in a couple of hours & have it
disgrace the covers of a major series of epic fantasy
that you obviously know or care little-to-nothing about = Priceless

The UK cover certainly looks more stylish than the american one. Hope they stick with the idea
