Tor Books has announced that the release date for TOWERS OF MIDNIGHT has been pushed back by a few days. The new release date is November 2nd. The reason for this change is in order to give Brandon just a little more time to wrap things up on the book. After Brandon’s deadline, there will be an intense push to get the book copyedited, designed, and printed. Normally this process can take many months, but for this book (and most of the more recent WoT novels), the process has been prioritized in order to get the book out as quickly as possible. |

I’ve always wondered if it would be like having unfinished business if I have to move on to that next place me self before this series comes to a conclusion”
I’ve wondered that same thing.. no joke..

I don’t mind the release date being pushed back a week or two (it takes that long to get out to NZ anyway), but does anyone know when the e-book version will be released?

@Janine, Even if you had a job at a bookstore you would be forced to stealthily sneak the book from receiving, hide it under your parka and hide in a bathroom stall to read it. At least, in my experience working at a bookstore, there was no touchy for me until there was also touchy for everyone else. LOL!

Tim, I agree, what the hell is GRRM up to? he isn’t a young man. i don’t want to lose ANOTHER sci fi author to death before they finish their series! Oh, hang on, if GRRM dies, then maybe it will be finished!
Yossi, if we’re tlaking about using the same characters in a series, surely the magnificent raymond e fiest would win hands down. I’m still a fan of Pug and his adventures many years after i read Magician.

I think i might have to get a job in a bookstore to get my hands on it earlier.

Brandon has done fantastic job so far in completing the series and I cannot wait for this next one!

I dont mind the fact that we have to wait a little bit longer. I would not mind too much if it came out next year in 2011! As much as I would like to get and read the book I would not want BS to rush and get the book out in an instant. Look at what happened with TPOD and COT. If waiting for whatever amount of time makes TOM that much better then I dont mind waiting!

right there bro but the wait is worth the read.

Oh… and while you all go nuts for a few days, please spare a thought for the folk in the African sticks who will only get their mitts on the book around 2 months after release date in the US, UK, AUS and elsewhere
