A beautiful new video interview has been posted online by Mythmaker Films, a production company based in southern California. You can view it below, or click over to this link to see it in full High Definition. This video was created while Brandon was on tour for The Gathering Storm. One of the Storm Leader for the Los Angeles book signing event, Tess Ortbals, works with Mythmakers and took the time to gather her troops to make this awesome video. Thanks, guys! |

Love the interview! Loved TGS! Love TWoT! After keeping up with his blogs and seeing this video, I love BS as well! Thanks for picking up the torch BS. You saved our lives.

no one else could write these books. since we have lost RJ i was a little scared to read TGS, thinking that it would be parody of RJ writing even though BS assured us that it wouldnt be. I have to say that BS did an excellant job. i can see a few subtle differances in writing style and in comparioson to the other books this one seems to have a new nararator, but a grat job in portraying the spirit of TWoT. great great job.

Great and personal interview. As a result of the buzz, I have read Elantris and loved it. I see Raoden as being an ultimate king in a way similar to how Brandon talks about Rand as the hero. My son is bugging me to read Mistborn also.
I also love how relevant fantasy is to the world and current events without it all being about reality.
I’ve only gotten as far as Winter’s Heart, but the interview and comments have intrigued me, and I will likely be reading a little faster. Maybe not finish before the next publishing, but certainly by the last book.

Thank you so much for this post. This really gave a nice look into the whole feel of the tour. I was glad to see such diversity in the crowd too. I’ll have admit, my favorite character to read is Mat too! haha
