What is the status of the Dragonmount movie?

In the four years since we started, we've learned a lot as filmmakers. We've realized that to do a professional job in 3D animation takes far more than we initially thought. It's not that our team lacked the knowledge or drive to pull it off. It's just that this production requires far more resources than we had available to us.

So for that reason we are officially putting production of the animated Dragonmount movie on hold. We're not saying we'll never do it. we're just saying that we're going to go focus on other things (as we have been), and come back to this project when we have the experience and insight on how to pull this off properly. Robert Jordan was aware of this and continued to be supportive. He was clear in that he left the door open for us to possibly return to the project another time.
