In the Wheel of Time, Robert Jordan intended to write two more "prequels" that would fall in between New Spring and The Eye of the World. The first is the story of how Tam al'Thor found baby Rand and decided to return to the Two Rivers. The second is the story of how Moiraine and Lan arrived at the Two Rivers just in the nick of time. Robert Jordan left notes on these stories but there is no decision yet on whether or not they will be written and published. In addition to the prequels, he was toying with an idea for an additional story line in the Wheel of Time universe that could have led to two or three more "outrigger" books. We believe these would involve Mat and Tuon back in Seanchan a few years in the future.

Now that Brandon Sanderson is finishing the main chronology, will any of these books be written and published?
