One Response to #103 – The 4th Age Podcast – The Tower of Mat

  1. Charlz Guybon says:

While some of the dialogue seemed a bit off, you have to remember that the characters are not speaking English, their language is as similar to the Old Tongue as French is to Latin. It’s being translated into English by the author.

As for “time to toss the dice”, that’s basically a direct quote of Julius Ceasar. Mat = Ceasar reborn?

Olver did tell Mat about how to get into the tower with the bronze knife. He got that info from Birgitte. He also was the one who opened Verin’s letter and alerted Talmanes to the danger of the Trollocs. I don’t really think this he’s going to do much more.
